Amidst early 20th-century global upheavals, Mr. Mehrbaum entrusted his chocolate-making legacy to his friend and fellow chocolate enthusiast, Jacob Frankel. Jacob immersed himself in the art, preserving traditional methods and family secrets that continue to define Fames Chocolates today.
